Hugo Stinnes

Hugo Dieter Stinnes was a German industrialist and politician.

Stinnes was born in Mlheim, in the Ruhr Valley, North German Confederation. His father was also named Hugo, and his grandfather, Matthias Stinnes, had founded a modest enterprise in Mlheim.
